POLICY:

The Hospital is committed to a policy of equal employment opportunity for applicants and employees. The Human Resources Department is responsible for auditing to ensure that these requirements are being followed in the hiring and placement of employees and in all other formal actions or events regarding personnel administration.


BENEFITS

Pension Plan/Tax Deferred Savings Plan (457/401A):

Employee contributes 4% of base salary in 457 Plan and Employer matches 6% of base salary in 401A Plan. After three years of continuous participation, employee can increase contribution to 10% and Employer will contribute 10%. Life Insurance policy 2 x employee’s annual base salary. Immediate vesting for employee and employer contributions. Six month waiting period from date of hire.

Medical Insurance

100% employer paid for full-time employees. Full-time employees pay 50% for dependent coverage. Premiums are pre-tax. Reimbursement for full-time who waive coverage is $34.62 per pay-period. Coverage begins the first of the month following date of hire. Pay-in-lieu of benefits $34.62 per payperiod.

Prescription Plan

Employer paid - No premiums for full-time staff. Services through local participating Pharmacies and mail order.

Paid Leave Plan

Full-time status after three (3) months of employment:

3 months – 5 years: 28 days, 5 – 10 years: 33 days, 10+ years: 38 days

Life Insurance

$10,000 policy paid by employer for full-time staff enrolled in medical plan

*reduced to $3,500 at age 65.
